We recently acted as third party checker for the design of over 37km of unpaved reinforced access road over variable and soft ground conditions around Ipswich, UK. The access road was a temporary roadway to facilitate the laying of the onshore cables serving East Anglia One, the largest offshore wind farm under construction worldwide. The road has proven reliable in service and has performed as required for enabling works contractor Roadbridge and cabling civils contractor Murphy.
